He studied geography and history at the Universidad de Córdoba, and later was an interim government official in the Andalucian autonomous administration. He has written all types of fiction since he was a teenager, winning numerous prizes as the author of short stories and tales. HIs first novel, 'El círculo del lobo (Almuzara, 2008), received unanimous praise from critics and readers.
