(Barcelona, 1969) is a journalist and writer. BA in Political Science and Sociology (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), has published some twenty books (poetry, biographies, guides, essays and fiction). He collaborates both on the radio (COM Ràdio, RNERadio 1, Catalunya Ràdio and RAC1) and television (TVE 24h, Urbe TV, Canal Català Televisió, Televisió de Catalunya). He has been editor of several publications and press manager for publishing houses. He has written documentaries for television and has directed a film.
Born in London in 1969. He works in the audiovisual field. He is a scriptwriter and has just directed his first documentary, Herbolarium (2008). After reading the book by George Borrow The Bible in Spain, he felt the urgent need to relive the epic journey described by him. David Fernández de Castro, unlike the English writer, defines himself as a mediocre narrator, a lousy boxer and a worse jockey, tried to emulate the bible seller and nineteenth-century author, and crossed Spain from the north to the south.
