Born in Salamanca in 1922, Francisco Rodríguez Adrados’ long intellectual career puts him in a place of honour in recent Spanish culture. He is a classicist, an expert on India, a linguist and a historian, Emeritus Professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Doctor Honoris Causa at the Universidad de Salamanca and member of the Reales Academias de Lengua y Historia (Royal Academies of Language and History), of the Academia de Atenas and the Academia Argentina de las Letras.
Gabi Beltrán (Palma, 1966) demonstrated early on his passion for narrative, illustration and otherwise, and began orienting his creative calling towards the world of illustration. He collaborated in a number of prestigious comics such as 'Nosotros Somos Los Muertos' and the Swiss 'Strapazin'. His illustrations have featured in numerous publications in the United States (Veer, Plansponsor, Portland Monthly Magazine), and he has also been a contributor to El Pais for a number of years.
Gabi Martínez (Barcelona 1972) is a writer. His novel 'SUDD' was chosen by the magazine Qué Leer and El Periódico's literary supplement as one of the best books of 2007, along with authors such as Cormac McCarthy, Jonathan Littell and Javier Marías. 'Hora en Times Square' and 'Atico' were critically acclaimed, placing Martínez among the great innovators of Spanish literature.
