Germán Berrios

Germán Berrios studied Medicine and Philosophy at the University of San Marcos (Peru). At the University of Oxford he studied Psychology and Philosophy, trained in History and Philosophy of Science and finished off with Neurology and Psychiatry. He is Emeritus Professor of Epistemology of Psychiatry and Emeritus head of Neuropsychiatry at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge University). He is Professorial Fellow for Life of Robinson College (Cambridge) and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the British Society of Psychiatry and United Kingdom Academy of Medicine. He has honorary doctorates from the University of Heidelberg (Germany), the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Peru), the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
