Joan de Deu Prats i Pijoan

JOAN DE DÉU PRATS (Barcelona, 1962): author, scriptwriter and journalist, he has written more than 70 books for children and young people, some of which have been translated into English, Chinese, Portuguese, Basque and Braille. On two occasions he has won the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu children's short story prize, for 'Patines de Sebastián' (2003) and 'El secuestro de la primavera' (1999), and two of his books, 'Un safari en el salón'  and 'El señor Guerra y la señora Paz', were included in the Internationale Jugend Bibliothek, in Munich, 2001.
