Four Paws’ Lesson
Alfredo Gómez Cerdá was born in Madrid. As a child he travelled in his imagination every time he opened a book. He wrote and directed several plays, wrote screenplays and adapted novels for the cinema. He wrote two stories for children, and with ‘Las Palabras Mágicas’ he won second prize in ‘El Barco de Vapor’. That was when everything really began. He suddenly discovered a world full to overflowing with creativity, imagination and magical communication: in short, the world of fiction. He considers that the best prize he has ever won is to see a reader with a book in their hands, spellbound, raising mountains of dreams with mere words, because he believes that children have the right to read good books, which open the doors and windows of all their senses and emotions to them.
