Waking Up
Nancho Novo (A Coruña, 1958) has had a solid career as an interpreter, author and theatre director with over 40 works. The most recent are El Cavernícola, Los Cuernos de Don Friolera and Nunca es Fácil. He has collaborated on over 30 films and his time in television left unforgettable moments such as El Síndrome de Ulises and Raquel busca su sitio and in monologues for El Club de la Comedia. Novo is also singer, songwriter and guitarist for the rock group "Castigados sin Postre", with whom he has recorded two albums, and every week he takes part in the programme A vivir Madrid on Cadena Ser. In 2005 his first novel El Solateras (Aguilar) was published, and more recently two of his plays Cyborg and Sombra de Perro (Fundamentos, 2011) have also been published. He won the Premio Chivas for best comic actor in February 2003 and in 1996 he was nominated for the Goya.
