Jacobo Fernández
Jacobo Fernández is from Galicia, and this can be seen in his work. After studying fine art he returned to his city, where he earns his living drawing, writing and painting.
As an illustrator he works mainly on books for children and young people but he also produces books of his own illustrated texts. As a comic artist he has worked for several magazines, winning recognition in 2007 with the Castelao Comic Prize for his Adventures of Cacauequi. He was also nominated as revelation author of 2008 at Expocomic in Madrid and by the Salon of the Comic in Barcelona.
