NATALIA CEREZO MÁRMOL
Natàlia Cerezo (Castellar del Vallés, 1985) attended primary and secondary school in Castellar del Vallés, where she met the teacher and writer Josep Lluís Badal, who later became a close friend. She graduated in Translation and Interpretation from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and worked as a proofreader and translator. In 2018 she published her first book, a collection of 15 stories. Written originally in Catalan, but also translated into Spanish, it was published by the Barcelona house Rata Books, headed by the editor and author Iolanda Batallé. The book has received critical acclaim. The well-known writer and specialist in short fiction Sergi Pàmies used his column in La vanguardia to particularly praise the final story of the collection.
