'The river' is a place of meeting and peace where life converges. As an element of nature, the river becomes a metaphor for life, a place where life originates and from whence it flows. The book's text is a poem by Gerard Vergés entitled "Hablo de un río mítico y rumoroso" ("I Speak of a Mythical and Noisy River"). Through the river and its surroundings, we can experience the vivid sensations of the different stages of life, from childhood to old age.
