Rubén Bernabé & Guillermo Monje

After graduating in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Granada and studying Interior design, Rubén Bernabé (Malaga, 1982) specialised in the publishing sector, taking a variety of creative roles: illustrator, graphic designer, model maker etc. He presently works as a pre-publication technician, a task which he combines with personal projects as a scriptwriter for comics. El mejor gol (The Best Goal) is his first published long work.
Guillermo Monje studied illustration and comic strips in the Escuela de Profesiones Artísticas en Madrid (ESDIP). He graduated as an illustrator from the Escuela de Arte “José Nogué” de Jaén. He works between book illustration, advertising, children's illustration and ornamental illustration. Based on very good ideas for getting things down on paper, his work shows strong links to animated cartoons, subtle design and naive art.
