When Verónica is ten years old, she discovers the photograph of a girl she has never seen before. As a result of this episode, she has lived with the idea that sadness, arguments and silences at home hide something  which no one wants to talk about. Years later, her mother's illness leads an adolescent Verónica to confront a stolen past which brings her icloser and closer to the girl in the photograph.
Laura has always felt that something wasn't right in her family. She has grown up insecure, under the shadow of a demanding grandmother and a mother who barely notices her. One day, Verónica comes into the shoe shop where Laura Works and, with a single glance, Laura will understand that there are decisive moments which mark a before and after in your life.
