Lara's nickname at school is 'weirdo'. The main reason why Lara is marginalised is that she's only interested in literature, and social interaction isn't her strong point. Lara has lived in Paris for two years, and she thought that this change in her life would give her an opportunity; however, it hasn't turned out like that. Exhausted, one day she decides not to go to class, goes out to walk around Paris and discovers a strange bookshop, Blanchard. The shop's sign is an open book with the words 'Ex Libris' and two question marks. Although the bookshop seems very old and closed to the public, driven by her insatiable curiosity Lara decides to enter. The bookseller tells her to come back days later, she knows there's something strage going on there, but she will have to gain the old bookseller's confidence in order to read his strange books. From that moment Lara begins her own adventure, but is it real or literary?
