Laura suffers from a strange illness that means she can't experience colours, but if her life is all in grey, it's not just because she suffers achromatopsia. She has just broken up with her boyfriend and her parents haven't stopped fighting since their divorce. That's why she decides to get away from it all and get on the first plane to leave the airport. Fate takes her to Reykjavik, Iceland. There she meets the friendly Orri, who suggests she go on a journey around the country with him and his less amiable friend Guðjon. It may not be a sensible idea, but Iceland doesn't have a great deal of options for a girl who's run away from home. Laura could never have suspected that the two Icelanders are hiding a secret that's truly unbelievable, even for someone like her, and that this journey will change her forever.
