Jaume Sanllorente (Barcelona, 1975) has a degree in Journalism. He later studied Development Co-operation in the Institute for Peace and Co-operation Studies,and did various courses on human resources, leadership and marketing. He contributes to various media organs and is editor of the news agency Mumbai Action. he presently lives in Mumbai, where he is director general of the NGO Mumbai Smiles, which he himself founded in 2005. The Spanish government awarded him the Cruz de Oficial de la Ordeen del Mérito Civil in 2009.
Terradas set up the first team researching terrestial ecosystems in Catalunya and was the driving force behind the University of Barcelona's Centre for Ecological Research and Forest Applications (CREAF). He headed the Spanish Association of Terrestial Ecology and was vicepresident of the Catalan Institute of Natural History. He is a member of the Institute of Catalan Studies and has won, among other awards, the Narcís Monturiol medal and the Generalitat's Environment Prize.
Javier Avilés Viaplana (Barcelona, 1962) has since 2004 posted the successful blog El lamento de Portnoy, in which he writes about cinema and literature from the sometimes blurred boundaries between reality and fiction, and for which he was awarded the Revista de Letras al Mejor Blog Nacional de Crítica prize. He contributes to a number of digital magazines, including Hermano Cerdo, and to the literary magazine Quimera.
