Javier Negrete was born in Madrid in 1964. He studied Classical Philology and since 1991 has taught Greek at the Gabriel y Galán school in Plasencia. In 1992 he published his first novel, 'La luna quieta.' He is the author of other works of science fiction such as 'La mirada de las furias' and 'Estado crepuscular.' He has also written young people's literature with 'Memoria del dragón' and 'Los héroes de Kalanúm'.

Ana Alonso was born in Tarrasa, Barcelona, in 1970, although she has lived for a large part of her life in Leon. She studied biology at the University of Leon and did further studies in Scotland and Paris. She has published eight poetry collections and, among others, has won the 2005 Hiperión poetry prize, the Ojo Crítico poetry prize (2006) and, more recently, the Antonio Machado prize in Baeza (2007) and the Alfons el Magnámin prize in Valencia for poetry in Spanish (2008).
Javier Pérez Andújar (Sant Adrià de Besòs, 1965) is a graduate in Hispanic Philology from the Universidad de Barcelona. He is the author of Los principes valients (The Valient Princes, 2007), a first novel which was warmly received by readers and critics.
